On Thursday 18th August, Cullercoats Crescent Club will play host to a night of local music in order to raise money for I.C.S and Progressio Charity.
Kicking the night off is the dulcet music of Mink. The duo have a clean, melodic sound and are sure to charm the crowd with their gorgeous ballads.
Up next is indie rock group Trip Switch. Taking influence from the likes of The Smiths, Joy Division, The Libertines and Jarvis Cocker, the group have achieved a bold and oh so catchy sound.
Watch out for their rendition of 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' - it's spectacular.
The main support of the night is alt-rock trio BLESH. The band combine upbeat melodies and soothing guitar; akin to the style of Mac DeMarco. However their sound is elevated by powerful drops and gritty vocals, producing a rich, full sound.
Headlining the night is Whitley Bay's dynamic indie synth-rock group HEDGES. The group have a bold, loud sound, fuelled by gritty guitar, ebullient drums, retro percussion and explosive drops.
