Beloved Teeside indie-rock group Shoot the Poet are set to play their final gig tonight at the Exchange House in Middlesbrough. Doors open at 11pm, with OTD tickets costing £4.50 before 11:30 and £6 afterwards.
From playing Isle of Wight and Willowman Festival to supporting The Coronas and The Subways, the five piece band have made their mark on the Hartlepool music scene.
The band will be welcoming back former members Craig Gilbraith and Adam Morgan for the gig, celebrating their five years together on the North East scene.
The main support for the night is Towzer, whose sound channels the grit of the early Arctic Monkeys combined with a chilled 60s-esque psychedelic undertone.
Despite only forming last year, the group have already released their debut E.P and supported The Sherlocks.
